ETSI had published the latest TTCN-3 standards related to edition 4.7.1.
You may find new language elements and access the documents via the updated TTCN-3 Quick Reference Cards:
The final draft TTCN-3 edition v4.7.1 is available for approval. ETSI members may access the new documents via the ETSI portal “TC MTS Drafts” or click for: draft core language. In addition for all users there is a pdf available with the final draft. The final publication is expected in May/June 2015.
Please consider to present your latest experiences around TTCN-3 at UCAAT’15 that is the successor of the well-known TTCN-3 user conference. The conference will be hosted by ETSI in Sophia Antipolis in the sunny South of France.
All parts of the TTCN-3 standard and extensions from 2014 have been endorsed by ITU-T Study Group 17 and are now published online in the Z series (Languages and general software aspects for telecommunication systems) with document identifiers Z.161 – Z.170.
ETSI TC MTS continued its strong commitment for TTCN-3 in 2014: After publishing version 4.6.1 in June 2014 an interim version 4.6.2 has been developed. Currently this latest release is online for ETSI members only, but some tool vendors are already offering their TTCN-3 products (e.g. TTworkbench 19) with support for this interim version. MTS’s STF478 completed its work on TTCN-3 maintenance and we expect the consideration of all results from 2014 during the MTS#64 meeting in January 2015.
In addition to the standardization activities we identified the new Eclipce project Titan (see youtube) that is under the lead of Elemer Lelik and György Réthy from Ericsson Hungary. It appears as a promising project that may attract even more users for TTCN-3 technology.
The Fraunhofer FOKUS SQC testing team members wish you a Happy New Year 2015 and we are looking forward to continue our TTCN-3 cooperations with our colleagues and customers from around the world.
